Breakfast enthusiasts rejoice! Bacon and eggs, they’re not just for eating any more. Indie artist Amy Secrest brings the most important meal of the day from the eatery to your earlobes with her whimsical handcrafted breakfast earrings. Accented with teal green Swarovski crystals, customers can choose from crispy bacon, fried egg, fluffy pancake, and buttered toast charms to create custom breakfast earring combos. Get two of the same, or mix it up—available from the artist in 7-10 days, these earrings, like the sunrise special at your favorite greasy diner, are made to order.
Hailing from Maine I know a thing or two about L.L. Bean. As a child I relished watching all of the fish swimming in their indoor ponds during our frequent trips to the flagship store in Freeport, and I also worked for L.L. Bean during college. As I grew older my interests changed from aquariums to kitchens though and my favorite part of the store became the “Home” section. This pretty yet functional bag of goodies is a classic example of the fabulous finds you can uncover in-store. I tend to end up having a “one for you” and “one for me” mentality when it comes to gift sets and this Down East Breakfast Tote is no exception. With the holidays right around the corner, and department stores already forcing aisles of Christmas lights on us, now just might be the perfect time to stock up on Secret Santa and Hostess gifts. I simply can’t imagine anyone turning up their nose at buttermilk pancakes served with blueberry syrup, especially when made from a Stonewall Kitchen mix.
I’m a Yogi tea addict and with the release of their new line of breakfast products I’m well on my way to becoming a Yogi cereal convert as well. I’m not an easy sell. In fact, I don’t even like cherries, but their Cherry Almond Crunch Cereal makes me a bit giddy. Would I lead you astray? Believe me, if I can eat a cereal that contains oats, barley, spelt, amaranth, and quinoa with nary a Crunch Berry in site, and actually enjoy it then so can you.
