The New Yorker Food IssueMark your calenders fellow foodies! Next Monday, November 23 is the official release of the New Yorker’s annual food issue. I’ve already set a reminder to myself on Entourage to run over to the newsstand promptly at lunchtime. I can’t wait to dig into my leftovers (hmm…I wonder what I’ll make for dinner on Sunday night?) and pour over the articles.

For those of you with a lack of patience a select number of pieces are available online for free. Personally I’m excited to see what Jhumpa Lahiri has to say on “Rice” in the Improvisations section not to mention Jane Kramer’s essay on the challenges of Thanksgiving abroad. So dear friends, consider the “do not disturb” sign as being fully in effect next Monday. I’ll be busy feeding my food writing appetite.
